Buying property in Buenos Aires from New York Times
Interesting article was posted in the New York Times Great Homes and Destinations International Real Estate section..."For Sale in...Buenos Aires". Ouch of course as usual it shows the overpriced apartments that exist everywhere, particularly for foreigners. While it might seem like a bargain to someone from New York or LA, this particular pied-à-terre is a bit pricey. There are many great bargains still to be had in Buenos Aires however, and with a good real estate agent and a bit of knowledge and not shopping solely by Internet where the expats are targeted with overpriced properties, it is possible to find something. Bottom line, do your research.

Hi Leslie,
There are many possibilities for living in Argentina.
First, in Argentina prices are rising with respect to local values, due to the amount of purchases by foreigners. Still, are low compared with Europe and USA.
It would be interesting to know how is your lifestyle to imagine a place for ustedes.Mi work is to study the style of the customer to get the best option. There are many possibilities in Buenos Aires and also in touch with nature.

Hi, my husband and I want to retire in BA and we are wondering if you have information on buying real estate and if BA is like many places in the world where prices are dropping? This is a big consideration for us to relocate and leave beautiful British Columbia. Yet we just fell in love with BA last year when we came to visit. If anyone can help us we would welcome the assistance. Leslie
